"Ocean Paradise 2D" | 6:10 PM

“Ocean Paradise” takes viewers on a journey to some of the Pacific’s most remote and untouched island sanctuaries. These vibrant ocean paradises — teeming with migratory birds, colorful fish and thriving coral reefs — offer a rare glimpse into environments vital to the planet’s health. Through breathtaking giant screen visuals, the film traces the powerful histories of these islands from their pivotal roles in World War II to uplifting stories of environmental recovery and the fascinating scientific research happening there today.

"Butterfly Journey 3D" | 7:10 PM

"Butterfly Journey 3D" takes viewers on a voyage half a world away to experience metamorphosis and migration through the eyes of the butterfly. A story of adaptation and survival, we follow the vast migrations of the Blue Tigers of Australia and the Monarchs of North America and Mexico. Explore the butterflies’ tiny world in immaculate detail as they overcome extraordinary challenges, flying thousands of miles and soaring more than 10,000 feet up into the air. Through the transformative power of the giant screen, experience the magical places that butterflies call home, and the rich biodiverse ecosystems that rely on them.

"Animal Kingdom 3D (25 Minutes)" | 8:10 PM

“Animal Kingdom 3D” takes viewers on a wild adventure to celebrate what makes our natural world so spectacular. Through brilliant nature footage, the film introduces a wide cast of characters — cute penguins, wise elephants and quirky dung beetles — from the mightiest families of the animal kingdom. Travel across frozen snowy forests, under the scorching African sun and into the darkest depths of the ocean to find out why animals are the way they are. A fun-packed and educational journey, this is an immersive giant screen experience you do not want to miss!

Gates Planetarium

"Great Solar System Adventure" | 6:15 PM and 7:45 PM

Join showman extraordinaire "The Great Schiaparelli" as he takes the audience on a death-defying space-time adventure within his wondrous Observatorium.

From the sun-scorched surface of Mercury to the icy expanses of Pluto and beyond, prepare to be subjected to the myriad dangers and wonders of our Solar System, on a breathtaking tour that reveals just how precious our home planet really is.

"Black Holes" | 7:00 PM

There's a place from which nothing escapes, not even light, where time and space literally come to an end. It's at this point, inside this fantastic riddle, that black holes exert their sway over the cosmos...and our imaginations. In this Museum-produced show, zip through other-worldly wormholes, experience the creation of the Milky Way Galaxy, and witness the violent death of a star and subsequent birth of a black hole. Mathematical equations, cutting-edge science, and Einstein's theories fill in holes along the way, providing the most complete picture yet on this mysterious phenomenon. Can you feel the pull?
